Youth Flute Choirs

The FSSL Flute Choirs meet throughout the school year, normally on Sunday evenings at Linbergh High School.

Rehearsals last for 45 minutes, unless noted otherwise.

Music will be provided by FSSL.

Students should organize their music in a folder or binder.

Students should also bring a wire music stand to practices and concerts.

For concerts, FSSL Youth Flute Choir students should wear black dress pants or a skirt and a solid color top.

All FSSL Youth Flute Choir should be members of FSSL (student membership dues = $12.50 for the school year) and must pay the Flute Choir Fee ($15 for the school year).

All checks should be made payable to "FSSL"

Oct 29 - Auditions
- Flute Choir Auditions are on Tuesday, Oct. 29. Students need to play C, F, Bb, Eb, Ab, and G major scales, as well as chromatic scale and a prepared etude. Parents need to contact Jill Young at jillby78@yahoo.com or can call 314-308-5113 to set up an audition time. Auditions will last 5 minutes, however students are encouraged to arrive at least 10 minutes early. Rehearsals will begin the next week on Tuesday, Nov. 6 at 6:00 for the middle school group and 7:00 for the high school group. Auditions and rehearsals will be at Lindbergh High School in the band room.
