Membership Details

Becoming a member of the Flute Society of Saint Louis means that you will be connected with a diverse network of both professional and amateur flutists of all levels and receive invitations and discounted admission to a variety of events and programs that are made possible through your membership fees. All of the benefits included in your membership are intended to provide opportunities for musical enrichment and to promote flute music and performance in the community. We encourage you to become a member to help our network grow so that we can continue to provide these wonderful opportunities to musicians in the Saint Louis area. Benefits include:

• Masterclasses, lectures, and performances by renowned musicians
• Scholarship awards and other competitions
• Participation in an adult flute choir or a youth flute choir (extra fees apply to cover new sheet music and administrative costs)
• Other fun events such as performing 'God Bless America' with other members at Busch Stadium
• An annual flute day with performances, workshops, and vendor displays
• Informational newsletters
• Job postings, instruments for sale, and teacher rosters, are maintained on this site

Types of Membership

Student Membership ($12.50 annually): We understand that students have a limited budget, but can still greatly benefit from the resources and opportunities that we provide. Therefore, we are happy to provide our annual membership at a discounted rate for those of you who are still students. Regular Members ($25.00 annually): This is our annual membership for professional and amateur musicians who are no longer students. Click here to download the membership form and check 'regular membership'.

Patron Members ($50.00 annually): For professional musicians, service providers, or businesses that wish to give something back to the flute community, this membership is for you. Your higher membership contribution helps us provide better and more opportunities for all members. We will recognize your generous contribution by listing your name or business name on our Patron Members page. Click here to download the membership form, and check 'patron membership'.

Lifetime Members ($500.00): If you wish to make a one time payment that will allow you to be a member of the Flute Society of Saint Louis for life, this membership is for you. We will recognize your dedication by listing your name on our Lifetime Members page. Click here to download the membership form, and check 'lifetime membership'.

Donations: If you would like to make a monetary contribution regardless of whether or not you are a member, you may also indicate that on the registration form. Click here to download the registration form, and write your chosen amount on the 'tax deductible donation' line. Your donation will be tax deductible.
